€100,000 funding on offer to Inventors

If you make stuff, design things, code things, build things, then the Highway1 PCH accelerator program could be just the thing for you.

In short, it’s an accelerator funding program for inventors.

Each participating company gets €100,000 in exchange for eight percent equity.

“Highway1 is the most rigorous, hands-on hardware program in the world,” says Brady Forrest, vice president of Highway1.

“You can enter with a garage prototype and leave four months later with a fundable, looks-like, works-like prototype.”

Well-known Highway1 ‘alumni’ include companies like Drop, Navdy, Podo, and Ringly.

To date, Highway1 has accelerated 58 hardware startups, which have raised a cumulative $65 million in funding. Here’s a full list of Highway1 alumni.

The deadline to apply for the Spring 2016 cohort is November 16, 2015. Interested startups can apply here.

The Highway1 Program

Highway1 offers a collaborative, hands-on environment with full-time engineering, design, business, and marketing expertise on staff, as well as 24/7, access to a 1,000-square foot electrical and mechanical hardware prototyping lab.
